Mahira Khan Decided Temporary Break from Films

The renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has decided to take break from signing new films for time being.

To explaining her decision about the break, she only want to fully concentrate on Television work and carefully chosen roles

Recently She had done his debut film Aag Lagy Basit Mein, as a co-actor with Fahad Mustafa and with other stars Tabish Hashmi, and Javed Sheikh, the film set for Eid al-Fitr 2026

The co-actor Aag lagy Basit Mein made the announcement while speaking at the trailer launch of her upcoming film. Splitting about her future plans, Mahira urge that she has decided not to sign any films at the meantime, claim that managing a drama serial alongside a feature film often becomes overwhelming due to demanding schedules.

According to the actress, television projects require emotional steadiness and lengthy shoots that cannot be well-adjusted with cinema work.

Mahira explained that she is presently unable to give her best to two major projects at the same time unless something truly incomparable idea.

“I am taking a short break because I am currently working on a television serial, and it is not possible to manage two projects simultaneously,” she explained.

The actress stressed that this decision should not be misunderstood as a permanent goodbye to films or cinema altogether.

The decision that Mahira Khan revealed was not meant to be a permanent goodbye or everlasting leaving to film and cinemas, she explained that she loves film and cinemas, she will surely comeback once she finds script that truly excites her creatively.
