Hadiqa Kiani Overwhelmed After Receiving Sitara-i-Imtiaz Award
Hadiqa Kiani who represent Pakistan by her magical voice, is ‘deeply honoured and humbled’ for awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz, express her feeling that it’s incredible achievement that it came two decades after she first received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
The singer shared this news on her Instagram Kiani dedicated the honour to her son, her listeners, supporters and family.
She wrote, adding that she wore red to the ceremony just as she did 20 years ago.
“I share this honour with my son, my listeners, supporters, family and everyone who has been part of this journey over the years.”

Hadiqa Kiani was across a large number of Pakistanis and international citizens who received civil awards on Wednesday for their contributions to different sectors.
In Islamabad, the event held by, President Asif Ali Zardari where he presented the Nishan-i-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s highest civil honour, to writers Atta ul Haq Qasmi and Irfan ul Haq Siddiqui for their contributions to literature.
Poet Zehra Majid Ali aka Zehra Nigah received the Hilal-i-Imtiza.
Playwright Asghar Nadeem Syed. Photographer Irfan Ahson and visual artist Hamra Abbas granted The Sitara-i-Imtiaz for their work in arts.
Actors Rashid Waheed Khawaja and Zahid Ahmed took home the President’s Pride of Performance Award.
In sports service, Cricketer Shahid Afridi, mountaineer Shehroz Kashif, and the late equestrian Malik Ata Muhammad Khan each received the Hilal-i-Imtiaz.
Artist Waseem Ahmed and Shooter Mohsin Nawaz received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi presented the Sitara-i-Imtiaz to former Pakistan women’s cricket captain Sana Mir in Peshawar.
Sana Mir a former Pakistan women’s cricket captain, received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz from Governor Faisal Karim Kundi. He also talk about the Pride of Performance Award on Jamshid Ali Khan for arts, direction, and production, and on Aminullah Daudzai for literature and poetry.
Muhammad Hamza Khan a renowned Squash player received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for his contributions to the sport.
In Karachi, during a separate ceremony actresses Fazila Qazi and Savera Nadeem. Mukhtiar Naz Taj Mastani received Sitara-i-Imtiaz from Governor Nehal Hashmi.
Pride of Performance in music was given to Mukhtiar Naz Taj Mastani.
While naat reciter Qazi Shujaat Qadri received the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
The president also, earlier, posthumously honoured a citizen with the Sitara-i-Shujaat for sacrificing his life while thwarting a suicide attack in Attock’s Jand tehsil earlier this week.
