Salman Khan Shares Powerful ‘Maatrubhumi’ Post, Builds Buzz for New Film

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan a.k.a Bhai Jaan continuing his active presence on social media and shares every updated with his fans, following his activeness, he shared a new post of himself which about his forthcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’ building excitement among fans.

On his Instagram post, Salman Khan posted a picture of himself of himself surrounded by nature, showcasing his ripped physique as he soaked in the serene surroundings. Keeping the caption brief, the actor simply wrote, “MAATRUBHUMI”.

Reports recently claimed it had run into trouble with the CBFC, but the production house shut that down quickly, saying in a July 4 statement that the film has not even been submitted for certification yet and that such reports were “entirely baseless.”

Produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’ is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role.

The film was earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’ before being renamed ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace.’ It is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.

Originally slated for release in April this year, the film was later postponed. The makers are yet to announce a revised release date. (ANI)
