Sajal Aly Joins Fans in Honouring Lionel Messi After World Cup Final

Among the million of football fans, Pakistani actress Sajal Ali also shared her contribution to tribute Lionel Messi after Argentina’s 1-0 extra-time defeat to Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

The Gul-e Rana actress took her Instagram and shared a photo of her television screen on the stories showing that she was watching the much-awaited final live.

After Argentina’s defeat, Sajal reposted a heartfelt tribute Messi on her Instagram Story, as the match marked his farewell to international football with Argentina.

The title of the message, the actress wrote “Dear Messi”, which shows disenchantment of the defeat, though celebrating the football icon’s remarkable career and lasting legacy.

The tribute read, “Today hurts. It hurt in a raw, physical way that left millions staring at their screens in silence. Thank you for making us believe.
