Muhammad Ahmed’s Claims of Alleged On-Set Humiliation Draw Support From Fellow Actors

A senior actor and writer form Pakistan showbiz industry Muhammad Ahmed has shared details about an alleged incident of mistreatment and humiliation he faced on the set of a television drama, saying he remained silent even though the experience left him deeply hurt.

Speaking during a recent podcast, in which he talk about a fellow actor and don’t revealed actor’s name, just hinted that the actor was around 40 year younger than him, repeatedly mocked his appearance, acting and hairstyle in front of the cast and crew. Ahmed said the younger actor made personal remarks about his baldness, height and appearance.

Drama Aulaad actor also alleged that on the set the actor questioned why he was still being cast, and joked that he always acted the same way and had the same hairstyle, and even took a handheld fan from a female co-star and held it over his head like a hairdryer while making fun of his hairstyle.

The veteran actor further recalled that he had supported the same actor early in his career by recommending him to a producer because he believed he had potential. The drama they later worked on went on to become successful.

Following Ahmed’s revelations, several actors expressed their support. Syed Jibran called the alleged behaviour “shocking and shameful” and said Ahmed deserves nothing but respect. He urged the unnamed actor to clarify whether the incident was a joke or a misunderstanding and apologise to Ahmed.
