Prince Harry Makes Major Move Amid King Charles, Charles Spencer Diana Row

Prince Harry has shared his response shortly after Buckingham Palace addressed the claim made by his uncle, Earl Spencer.

In his new Diana memoir Charles Spencer, has revealed in his new memoir details of shocking remarks allegedly made by the King about Princess Diana

The book title Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, is due to be released on September 22, 2026. Charles Spencer presents a personal account of his sister’s life, death and the events that followed her fatal car crash in Paris in 1997.

According to an excerpt reported from the memoir, Spencer recalls a heated phone conversation with then-Prince Charles. Spencer alleges that Charles expressed anger over Diana’s continued public attention and said, “Rest assured, we’ll forget her soon enough.” The claim is presented as Spencer’s recollection and has not been independently established.

Buckingham Palace issued a response to the claims without discussing the memoir itself. According to its spokesperson, grief can sometimes affect how people remember events and make judgments over time.

Prince Harry made the announcement just hours after the Palace responded on behalf of his father, announced a special event in London late on Wednesday, September 17.
