Punjabi Influencer Mudd Sindhu Shot Dead in Amritsar

Punjabi influencer and renowned makeup artist Mudd Sindhu was shot dead in Amritsar, Punjab, India, after unidentified gunmen opened fire on him.

According to police, two unidentified men riding a motorcycle targeted Mudd Sindhu and fled the scene shortly after the shooting.

The incident reportedly took place around 6pm on Saturday. Mudd Sindhu was found seriously injured and lying in a pool of blood on the road. He was immediately being taken to a hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his bullet wounds before reaching the facility.

Police have launched an investigation into the killing and are working to identify and arrest the attackers.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Sri Venella said initial findings suggest that two unidentified motorcycle riders were behind the attack. Authorities have collected evidence from the crime scene and are investigating the case from different angles.

Officials are also examining Mudd Sindhu’s personal and professional life, as well as his social media connections, to determine a possible motive. Police have stressed that it is too early to reach any definite conclusion about the reason behind the killing.

Social Media Account Claims Responsibility

Following the shooting, a post appeared on Facebook from an account named ‘Goldie Dhillon’, claiming responsibility for Mudd Sindhu’s murder. The post also accused the influencer of allegedly “spoiling” Punjab.

Police have included the social media post in their investigation. Authorities are now trying to determine whether the account genuinely belongs to those behind the attack or whether the claim was made to mislead investigators.

The authenticity of the account and the identities of the people operating it are also being investigated.

Mudd Sindhu’s Journey From Fashion to Social Media

Mudd Sindhu’s real name was Madhusudan. He was known for discussing makeup, the entertainment industry, gender issues and various social and cultural topics through podcasts and social media.

He began his career in the fashion industry, working as a stylist and later serving as an assistant costume designer on films in Punjab and Mumbai.

He eventually expanded his presence on social media, where he gained popularity through Instagram reels, viral videos, makeup content and posts showcasing his luxury lifestyle.

Mudd Sindhu also openly discussed social issues and topics related to the film and fashion industries, building a significant following online.

Police are continuing to investigate all possible motives behind his killing and are working to trace the unidentified attackers.
