‘Hera Pheri 3’ Release in Doubt as Priyadarshan Shares Latest Update

Renowned Bollywood director Priyadarshan has expressed disappointment regarding the future of the film ‘Hera Pheri 3’, saying that the completion of the film seems difficult in the current circumstances.

The 69-year-old filmmaker directed the successful 2000 comedy ‘Herapheri’ but has now parted ways with its third installment.

In an exclusive interview with Indian newspaper Hindustan Times, Priyadarshan discussed the complications surrounding the film, saying that there are many issues in the project which would require several chapters to discuss.

According to Priya Darshan, she doesn’t think the film will ever get made.

Earlier in July too, the director had announced that he is currently not a part of ‘Manipulation 3’.

He cited legal disputes and personal differences as major obstacles in the way of the film.

Priyadarshan also cited his strained relationship with producer Feroze Nadiadwala as a major reason for his departure from the film.

His latest statement has added to the uncertainty regarding the film’s release among the fans of the popular comedy franchise.

It should be noted that Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal played the lead roles in ‘Heera Pheri’ and ‘Phar Hera Pheri’.
