Germany announced €10m aid for flood victims

BERLIN : Aid of ten million euros for flood victims has been announced by the German’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock while holding a joint presser with Pakistan’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto.

The German Foreign Minister shared her thoughts about the severe damages to Pakistan by floods, and expressed her sympathy with the flood victims. She also tried to give a wake up call to the other countries and said, its just a reminder to the world a about the dramatic consequences of the climate change. Annalena further added, that Pakistan is the highly affected country by climate change. Germany’s foreign minister also intends to diversify its relation with Pakistan on economic grounds. She also hinted about the the investment German companies are going to made in infrastructural projects.

FM Bilawal also speaks in the conference and talked about translating the decades of goodwill and cooperation between Pakistan and Germany into energetic partnership for benefit of the two countries. Talking to recent floods, he said the climate catastrophe in Pakistan cannot be defined in words, as one third of the country is under water and one in seven Pakistani is affected.
