Gold price surges in Pakistan – check new rates

After falling in the previous session, gold prices jumped sharply in Pakistan on Tuesday. As per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold went up by Rs2,100 per tola, now reaching Rs349,200 in the local market. Likewise, the price for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,800, making it Rs299,382.

This rise comes just a day after gold prices had dropped by Rs1,600 per tola, ending at Rs347,100.

Globally, gold prices also went up by $21, reaching $3,310 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

On the other hand, silver prices stayed steady at Rs3,497 per tola.
