Gold price falls by Rs1,300 per tola in Pakistan – check new rate

Gold prices in Pakistan went down on Friday, following a drop in global rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,300, bringing it to Rs344,500.
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs1,114, now selling at Rs295,353, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Earlier, on Wednesday, the gold rate had already decreased by Rs3,400, reaching Rs345,800 per tola. The bullion market stayed closed on Thursday due to the Labour Day holiday.
International gold prices also fell on Friday. The rate stood at $3,263 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which is $13 lower than the previous rate.
Silver prices in Pakistan, however, stayed the same at Rs3,427 per tola.
