Gold Prices Increase Again in Pakistan After Previous Drop
Gold prices reach new all-time high in Pakistan - check rates
Gold prices in Pakistan increased again on Friday after a sharp drop the day before. The price of 1 tola of gold rose by Rs900, reaching Rs336,100 in the local market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs772, now standing at Rs288,151.
Big Drop on Thursday
On Thursday, gold had dropped by Rs6,700 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs335,200. Friday’s rise came as a surprise to many traders and buyers who were expecting further decline.
Global Gold Prices Also Climb
In the international market, gold prices also moved upward. The global rate increased by $9, reaching $3,177 per ounce. This includes a $20 premium, the APGJSA said.
Silver Prices Stay the Same
While gold prices changed, silver remained stable. The price of 1 tola of silver held steady at Rs3,377.
Jewellers say that market trends remain uncertain due to global economic conditions and currency fluctuations.
