Gold prices decrease in Pakistan today

10 June, 2025 18:13

Gold prices in Pakistan took a sharp decline on Tuesday, following a downward trend in international markets.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 6,100 per tola, now selling at Rs. 352,300 compared to Rs. 358,400 the previous day.

Smaller quantities also saw significant drops – 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 5,230 to Rs. 302,040, while 22-karat gold (10 grams) went down by Rs. 4,794 to Rs. 276,880.

Silver prices, however, remained steady at Rs. 3,745 per tola and Rs. 3,210 for 10 grams.

The decline mirrored global trends, with international gold prices falling by $61 per ounce from $3,400 to $3,339.

This price movement brings some relief to potential buyers, though market watchers caution that gold prices often fluctuate based on global economic conditions.

Investors and jewelry buyers will be keeping a close eye on whether this downward trend continues in the coming days.
