Gold rates in Pakistan climbed on Thursday, mirroring a rise in the global market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the local price of gold increased by Rs4,000 per tola, reaching Rs356,900. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,430, settling at Rs305,984.

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had already risen by Rs600 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs352,900.

Internationally, gold prices also saw an uptick on Thursday, hitting $3,375 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), marking a $30 increase, as reported by the APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, with the rate per tola steady at Rs3,745.
