Gold Prices Drop Again in Pakistan Amid Global Market Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan continued to go down on Thursday, June 19, 2025. This drop follows the global trend as international prices are also falling.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs460. With this drop, the new price of gold per tola in Pakistan is Rs358,595.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went down by Rs394. It now stands at Rs307,437. This is the second day in a row that gold prices have decreased. On Wednesday, the gold rate per tola fell by Rs2,245, ending the day at Rs359,055.

In the international market, the price of gold also declined. Global rates reached $3,372 per ounce. This price includes a $20 premium. The price went down by $6 on Thursday, according to APGJSA.

Silver prices also showed a small drop. The rate of silver per tola fell by Rs58. The new price is Rs3,820.

This decrease in both gold and silver prices is linked to changes in the international market. Experts say investors are moving to other options due to interest rate changes and economic uncertainty around the world.
