Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Monday, following a similar upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola went up by Rs800, bringing the new rate to Rs350,200. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price for 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs686, reaching Rs300,240.
This rise comes after a recent decline on Saturday, when the per tola gold price dropped by Rs1,600, closing at Rs349,400.
In the global market, gold prices also saw a modest increase. The international price reached $3,282 per ounce, including a $20 premium, showing an overall gain of $8.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs3,782 per tola, with no change reported.
