Gold prices drop in Pakistan – check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan hit record Rs400,000 per tola
Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday, following a decline in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs700, bringing it down to Rs359,000.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs600 to Rs307,784.
This decline came after gold rates went up on Monday, when the price per tola had increased by Rs1,600, closing at Rs359,700.
In the international market, gold prices also slipped on Tuesday. The global rate fell by $7, reaching $3,365 per ounce (including a $20 premium), according to APGJSA.
Silver prices followed the same trend, with per tola rates dropping by Rs73 to settle at Rs4,014.
