Gold prices fall by Rs1,100 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices dropped sharply in Pakistan on Monday, following a decrease in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,600 per tola, bringing it down to Rs358,800. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,086 to Rs307,613, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs2,829 to Rs281,988.
In the global market, gold was priced at $3,361 per ounce, showing a decline of $36.
Silver prices also went down. In Pakistan, 24-karat silver dropped by Rs51 to Rs4,013 per tola, while 10 grams slipped by Rs44 to Rs3,440. Internationally, silver stood at $37.80 per ounce, down by $0.51.
