Gold Price Surges by Rs1,500 per Tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Monday): Gold prices in Pakistan jumped sharply on Monday, following the international market trend. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs1,500 per tola, reaching Rs357,700.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,286, now standing at Rs306,670.

Just two days earlier, on Saturday, gold prices had dipped by Rs900 per tola, bringing the rate to Rs356,200. However, Monday’s rebound pushed prices to a new high.

In the global market, gold prices also witnessed an upward movement. The rate reached $3,350 per ounce (with a $20 premium), reflecting a gain of $15.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market stayed unchanged at Rs4,031 per tola.
