Gold prices in Pakistan remain stable after record high - check rate
Gold prices in Pakistan rose further on Thursday, following the upward trend in the global market. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association shared fresh data showing a sharp jump in local rates.
According to the association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 900, reaching Rs 362,600. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 772 and was traded at Rs 310,841.
For buyers of 22-karat gold, the price also moved up. The rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold climbed by Rs 708, settling at Rs 284,975.
On the global front, international gold prices saw another increase. The rate of gold per ounce went up by $9, reaching $3,399 in the world market.
The consistent surge in gold prices continues to impact jewelry buyers in Pakistan, while investors see it as a safer option amid global economic uncertainty.
