Gold prices increase by Rs8,400 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan registered a decline on Saturday, with rates also witnessing a slight drop in the international market.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs200, reaching Rs386,300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs172, settling at Rs331,189.
The 10-gram rate for 22-karat gold also dropped, falling by Rs158 to Rs303,600. In the global market, the price of gold per ounce edged lower by $2, reaching $3,643.
Silver prices followed the same trend. In Pakistan, the rate of 24-karat silver per tola declined by Rs13 to Rs4,443, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs11 to Rs3,809. On the international front, silver prices slipped by $0.13 to $42.15 per ounce.
The decline in both local and international precious metal prices comes amid fluctuations in global markets, influencing investor sentiment.
