Gold Prices Fall by Rs2,400 Per Tola in Pakistan After Record High
Gold prices increase by Rs1500 per tola in Pakistan - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan registered a sharp decline on Wednesday, just a day after hitting a historic peak.
As per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,400, bringing it down to Rs388,600 in the local market. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,058, closing at Rs333,161.
This comes after Tuesday’s surge of Rs4,700 per atola, which had pushed the rate to an unprecedented Rs391,000.
The international market also saw a decline, with gold prices slipping by $24 to settle at $3,668 per ounce (including a $20 premium).
Silver mirrored the downward trend as well, with its per tola price decreasing by Rs109 to Rs4,387.
