Gold Prices in Pakistan Drop Sharply by Over Rs3,000 Per Tola
Gold prices across Pakistan experienced a sharp decline on Monday, falling by more than Rs3,000 per tola, with the precious metal now retailing at over Rs430,000 per tola.
As per the latest figures, the price of 24-karat gold per tola recorded a reduction of Rs3,300, bringing its new value to Rs430,362.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,829, placing it at Rs368,966 per 10 grams.
Likewise, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams saw a drop of Rs2,593, setting the new price at Rs338,031.
On the international front, gold prices also witnessed a decline of 33 dollars per ounce, with the latest global rate standing at 4,080 dollars per ounce.
