Gold Price Drops Over Rs9,000 per Tola in Pakistan
After a two-day rise, gold and silver prices in Pakistan have witnessed a sharp decline. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold has dropped by PKR 3,500, bringing it down to PKR 420,362 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by PKR 3,001, now standing at PKR 360,392.
In the silver market, the price per tola has fallen by PKR 130, now reaching PKR 5,022. On the global front, the price of gold has also decreased, with the price per ounce dropping by $35, now standing at $3,980.
Experts suggest that fluctuations in global gold prices, coupled with local economic conditions, have caused these changes in the domestic market. They advise investors and consumers to remain cautious due to the volatility in the market.
