Gold price in Pakistan rises by Rs7,400 per tola - check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a major jump of Rs7,400 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association.
After a one-day pause, both the international and local gold markets witnessed a sharp rise in rates. The price of 24-karat gold in the local market has increased by Rs7,400, reaching Rs429,862 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs6,337, bringing it to Rs368,530. The rate of silver also went up by Rs115, now standing at Rs5,209 per tola.
In the global market, gold became $74 more expensive per ounce, reaching $4,075.
