Gold price rises by Rs2,700 per tola in Pakistan – check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan went up on Monday, following a similar increase in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs2,700, bringing the new rate to Rs446,862 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs2,315, reaching Rs383,112, according to the latest update from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Just two days earlier, on Saturday, gold had already gone up by Rs5,300 per tola, reaching Rs444,162.

In the international market, gold gained $27, and its price rose to $4,245 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices also increased. The rate of silver moved up by Rs54, reaching Rs5,963 per tola.
