Gold prices rise by Rs 3,000 per tola in Pakistan – check new rates
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp increase on Friday, December 5. The price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 3,000 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs 444,462 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs 2,572, reaching Rs 381,054. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold per 10 grams went up by Rs 2,358, with the new price at Rs 349,312.
Global Gold Prices Also Rise
On the international market, gold prices increased by $30 per ounce, taking the new global rate to $4,221 per ounce. Changes in global prices have a direct impact on Pakistan’s local markets.
Silver Prices Also Go Up
Silver prices in Pakistan also recorded an increase. The price of 24-carat silver per tola went up by Rs 72, making the new rate Rs 6,072 per tola. Similarly, the price of 24-carat silver per 10 grams increased by Rs 61, reaching Rs 5,205.
The rise in gold and silver prices reflects trends in the global market and continued demand within Pakistan.
