Gold Price Drops Sharply by PKR 10,700 Per Tola in Local Market

In the local market, the price of gold has seen a significant decline of 10,700 PKR per tola. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems & Jewellers Association, “the country has witnessed a major drop in gold prices for the second consecutive day.”

Today, the price of gold per tola fell by 10,700 PKR, reaching 459,462 PKR. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by 9,114 PKR, bringing it down to 393,914 PKR.

Silver also saw a decline, with its per tola price falling by 145 PKR to 7,930 PKR. Meanwhile, in the global market, gold prices dropped by 107 USD to 4,371 USD per ounce.

Experts attribute the decline to a combination of local market fluctuations and changes in global gold rates, affecting both investors and consumers.
