Govt focus to stimulate rural productivity and farm income to revitalize agriculture sector of Pakistan.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said this, while talking to Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar in Islamabad on Tuesday.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitate poor farmers by providing them timely inputs in order to boost agriculture productivity.

The Finance Minister underlined revitalizing agriculture sector of Pakistan through stimulating rural productivity and farm income.

Moreover, both the ministers reviewed the supply and stocks of Urea fertilizers for the farmers.

On the occasion, the Secretary for Industries and Production gave a detailed presentation about production of Urea fertilizer.

He also updated about the sufficient stock of fertilizer to cater to requirements in the upcoming sowing season.
