25 May, 2024 10:32

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that he will attend the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) meeting in Islamabad today after formally receiving invitation.

Initially, he was not invite in the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

“Yes, surely, I will represent my province in the SIFC meeting,” he said.

Special Assistant to CM KP on information and public relations, Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif also confirmed the development.

Earlier, Barrister Saif had criticised the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz-led coalition government for not inviting the KP chief minister to the SIFC meeting.

“Ignoring the province and its people from their representation in the SIFC is a great injustice to this province,” he said earlier this week.
