Coronavirus confirmed cases increase to 10513 while 224 died so far.

According to National Command and Operation Centre, the total number of coronavirus infection cases in the country has reached 10,513.

These include Punjab, 4590, Sindh, 3373, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1453, Balochistan 552, Islamabad Capital Territory 204, Gilgit-Baltistan 290, and Azad Kashmir 51 cases.

Meanwhile, 2,337 patients of Coronavirus have been recovered.

224 died (Sindh: 69, Punjab: 58, KP: 83, ICT: 03, Balochistan: 08 and GB: 03) and 60 others are in a critical condition.

124,549 tests have been conducted since outbreak of the pandemic.

Local transmission is 79 percent and foreign travel 21 percent.

The government has made ready 717 hospitals with Covid facilities with 2779 patients admitted across the country.

Meanwhile, government of Pakistan is also working on more funds to help affected people.

Pakistan Television (PTV) Network will air a massive Telethon transmission today.

According to Senator Faisal Javed Khan, the government and private TV channels will launch the telethon for Corona Relief Fund.

The programme aims at sensitizing Pakistani citizens within the country and abroad to come forward in helping the countrymen in this testing time.

In a video message, he said due to vast number of affected persons, huge amounts will be required to help them.

Moreover, he urged the philanthropists to actively participate in this fundraising campaign.
