ECNEC approves Mainline 1 project with over 100000 job opportunities.
Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said this, while briefing the media in Islamabad on Thursday.
ECNEC approves Mainline 1 project
Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved Mainline-1 project.
Sheikh announced its completion at fast pace.
He e said the project will provide over one hundred thousand employment opportunities to the masses.
Furthermore, he said the project will also reduce travel duration.
The project will be completed at the cost of over 6.8 billion dollars.
The Railways Minister said ML-1 project was the mission of his life.
He said the project will also prove to be helpful in increasing the number of trains.
He said work on Nullah Lai project will also soon be started.
