Uzbekistan Railways deputy chairman calls on Minister for Maritime Affairs in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

The Uzbek delegation apprised the Minister about their visit to the ports in Karachi and Gwadar.

Moreover, both sides agreed on a joint working group for future coordination.

On the other hand, Port Qasim fleet got two new fire tenders.

It will help enhance its fire fighting capacity from Prime Minister’s package for Karachi.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi had Inaugurated infrastructure development projects of Port Qasim last year.

According to a statement, Port Qasim stays committed to fulfill its obligations.

The PQA reviewed of Rs 2.9 billion development projects in its Industrial Zones.

In this regard, signing of Infrastructure maintenance contract also held.

Meanwhile, the government also initiated ambulance services at Medical Centre Port Qasim Authority.
