He further said the government is taking all possible steps to acquire more vaccine from all possible sources.

Rana Safdar said to have developed a mechanism to ensure that only quality vaccine administered to the people.

Moreover, the DG Health vowed to make no compromise on the quality of the vaccine.

He asked the people aged over forty years to get themselves registered for the vaccination.

Furthermore, he said vaccination centers remain open even after Iftari from 8 pm to 12 midnight.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan Asim Rauf also spoke.

He said they also encourage private sector to import the vaccine.

He said under a mechanism the private hospitals can also import vaccine for the vaccination of their employees.
