According to its report, most of these countries have hosted the Taliban or tacitly backed them.

The JP reported those benefit from the Taliban taking power as victors in Kabul .

Moreover, it also noted the US appears humiliated.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi urged Afghan leadership to use this historic opportunity for reaching a broad-based and comprehensive political settlement of Afghan issue.

While talking to a delegation of Afghan leaders, he further said all stakeholders must work together for a better future of Afghanistan and the region as well.

The Minister underlined a peaceful, united, democratic, stable and prosperous neighbour as ultimate goal of Pakistan.

He further underscored comprehensive dialogue as the only political way for resolution to the Afghan issue.
