Omer Sarfraz Cheema removed as Governor Punjab

Lahore-Umar Sarfraz Cheema has been removed from the position of the Punjab Governor.

A announcement has been issued by the Cabinet Division on late Monday.
The Punjab Assembly Speaker will be the acting Punjab governor till new advertisement.

The governor has been denotified as per law on the completion of time period of the summary, the announcement says.
