Bilawal Bhutto slams Shehbaz-led govt over VPN shutdown
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has named Naveed Anthony as the party candidate for Sindh Assembly deputy speaker and Murad Ali Shah for the Chief Minister slots.
The former finance minister was speaking to reporters in Karachi as PPP set to form government in the province.
Bilawal added that Murad Ali Shah would be the party’s candidate for Sindh chief minister.
“We will request him to take the responsibility of this post again. But this time round we have to beat our own record,” he said.
Apart from that, Owais Shah will be running for Speaker Sindh Assembly slot.
Moreover, he repeated that his party has not sought any ministry in the federal government, noting that the Sindh government would be “in competition” with the Centre in terms of performance.
