Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi indicted in new Toshakhana case

PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has been indicted in the new Toshakhana case today.

The judge of Special Court Central-1 Islamabad indicted the PTI founder and his spouse in the new Toshakhana case.

The new Toshakhana case was initially investigated by NAB, however, in the light of NAB amendments, the case was transferred to FIA.

In September 2024, FIA submitted the challan to the court after investigation.

It should be noted that in the first case of Toshakhana, the court had acquitted Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

The couple has already received a bail in the case.

Imran Khan and his wife is accused of causing loss to the national exchequer via illegal sale and retention of state gifts.

The former first lady, in October, after spending months in jail, was released after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) accepted her post-arrest bail plea in the said case.
