SNGPL announces new gas schedule for Ramadan 2025

As Ramadan begins, Lahore residents have been given a structured gas supply schedule, while Karachi faces severe shortages, causing difficulties during Sehri.

The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a Ramazan schedule for Lahore, ensuring gas availability from 2:30 AM to 8:00 AM for Sehri and from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM for Iftari.

To maintain smooth supply, 100 monitoring committees have been formed, with General Manager Rashid Inayat confirming round-the-clock monitoring.

However, in Karachi, the situation is dire. The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) failed to provide gas during the first Sehri of Ramadan, leaving many households struggling. Residents, especially in the Old City area, reported a complete lack of gas, forcing them to use LPG cylinders for cooking.

The gas crisis in Karachi has sparked frustration among citizens, who demand immediate action from authorities to ensure a stable supply during the holy month.
