MDCAT 2025: PMDC Announces New Rules, Revised Syllabus & Exam Schedule

PMDC raises MDCAT fee by 80%
As thousands of students prepare for the MDCAT 2025 exam, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has issued an important update regarding new rules, revised syllabus, and expected test dates.
According to the latest PMDC notification, “candidates will only be allowed to take MDCAT in the province or region corresponding to their domicile.” This means students must appear for the exam within the same province mentioned in their official documents.
PMDC has also revised the eligibility criteria for MBBS admissions. “Applicants must secure at least 65% marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or its equivalent to be eligible.”
The updated MDCAT 2025 syllabus now includes changes across all five tested subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Logical Reasoning. Key topics such as cell biology, reaction mechanisms, electromagnetic induction, and grammar comprehension are part of the revised curriculum.
