Committee Formed to Regularize Federal Employees Across Pakistan

Significant progress was made on the issue of regularization of federal government employees. The government has decided to regularize government employees and has formed a committee headed by Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik.

The government has decided to regularize federal daily wage earners, contract, and contingent paid workers and has also proposed to regularize employees covered under the Medical Board Validation Policy.

The federal government has decided to launch a comprehensive and transparent process for the regularization of employees.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formed a committee headed by Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik. The committee includes representatives from the Establishment Division, the Ministry of Finance, and the Law and Justice.

The committee will review the cases of eligible employees in federal institutions, and TORs have also been issued in this regard.

The committee will recommend cases that meet the criteria for regularization. The committee will complete the work in a timely manner based on merit and transparency.

All ministries have been directed to provide lists of eligible employees to the committee, which will submit a report to the Prime Minister every fifteen days.

Regularization guidelines will be taken as a national administrative priority, and non-compliance with the issued guidelines will be viewed seriously.
