FIA Raids Bahria Town for Hidden Financial Records
FIA Bahria Town Raids
Islamabad – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has conducted a raid to recover financial records and payment files related to Bahria Town, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities.
The raid led to the discovery of concealed documents inside the building of a private charitable hospital. According to sources, the hidden records were linked to financial dealings and irregularities within Bahria Town.
During the operation, the team, which included members of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), also seized concealed computers, servers, digital evidence, and other data. The recovered items were reportedly hidden in a guest room within the hospital premises.
It was further revealed that a private hospital ambulance was being used to transport the sensitive records, in an attempt to avoid detection.
Investigators say Bahria Town administration used the hospital as a front office to hide critical documents and cover up financial misconduct.
The FIA also seized key documents from Bahria Town’s office, including files related to various private housing projects.
The investigation is ongoing, and further action is expected as authorities review the recovered evidence.
