PSX Hits New All Time High With 144,048 Points Amid Dollar Decline
The Pakistan Stock Exchange has set a new record as the index reached the highest level in the country’s history, while the dollar continued to decline.
On the third business day of the week, the stock market showed a strong bullish trend. At the beginning of the session, the 100 Index surged by 1102 points, reaching 144,139 points.
A day earlier, the index had surpassed the 143,000 mark with a notable increase. The market’s upward momentum resulted in investors earning billions of rupees.
Meanwhile, the dollar fell by 10 paisas in the interbank market. According to the Exchange Companies Association, the dollar’s rate in the interbank market dropped to Rs. 282.47.
