PM Honors Quaid-e-Azam, Martyrs on Independence Day

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the nation during the central ceremony of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day. He congratulated the people of Pakistan and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.

He also honored the leaders of the Pakistan Movement, especially Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, for their courage and determination.

The Prime Minister said the struggle for independence was not just a fight for freedom, but also a battle to establish the Two-Nation Theory. He praised the armed forces for their bravery, stating that their courage changed the course of history and geography.

Referring to India, Shehbaz Sharif said the enemy was proud of its military power, but Pakistan’s forces gave a strong and unforgettable response. He applauded the military’s great achievements and said Field Marshal Asim Munir provided excellent leadership and strategy in defending the nation.

He expressed pride in Pakistan being the first Muslim nuclear power and the seventh in the world overall. He called Field Marshal Asim Munir a proud son of the nation for his role in strengthening national defense.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also announced the formation of the Army Rocket Force Command, a new addition to Pakistan’s military structure aimed at boosting defense capabilities.
