The management of Islamabad International Airport has raised parking fees, and many passengers and visitors are unhappy with the decision. The new charges have caused arguments between travelers and parking staff, as people feel the increase is unfair and adds extra cost to their trips.
New Parking Charges
According to reports, the new rates are:
First 3 hours: Increased from Rs. 90 to Rs. 120
After 3 hours (per hour): Increased from Rs. 50 to Rs. 70
Families and commuters say the rise makes it more expensive to drop off or pick up passengers. Some have even reported disputes at the parking area due to the higher fees.
