PM Shehbaz Inaugurates Shaheen Chowk Underpass to Ease Traffic Flow

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Shaheen Chowk Underpass Project in Islamabad on Friday.

During the briefing, officials informed the prime minister that special attention will be given to the beautification and design of the project to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance the city’s appearance.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the project has been designed with excellence, adding that the government is committed to making Islamabad more beautiful and well-organized.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that multiple infrastructure and traffic management projects are being launched to reduce congestion in Islamabad. He praised the efforts of the interior minister, CDA chairman, and their teams for working tirelessly on the city’s development.

“The government is determined to further enhance the beauty of Islamabad,” the prime minister said while congratulating Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the CDA chairman, and other officials for their dedication.

He added that preparations for the SCO Conference include the development of hotels and residential projects to accommodate international delegates.

The prime minister directed that development projects of national importance be completed at the earliest and assured full government support for ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
