President Zardari, Polish Deputy PM Discuss Stronger Bilateral Ties
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari met with Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. The Polish Ambassador, Maciej Pisarski, and Undersecretary Maciej Duszczyk were also part of the visiting delegation.
President Zardari said Pakistan values its relations with Poland and aims to further strengthen political and economic cooperation between the two countries. He noted that Pakistan and Poland share a relationship based on mutual respect and collaboration, with vast potential for growth in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
Highlighting the opportunities available in Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs), the president invited Polish companies to invest and take advantage of the country’s investor-friendly policies.
He also emphasized Pakistan’s role in promoting peace, stability, and regional connectivity in South Asia.
During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing cooperation in education, defense, and people-to-people exchanges to build a more robust partnership.
