Security Forces Kill Eight India-Backed Terrorists in Tank Operation

On 24 October 2025, on reported presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Tank District.

During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij locations, and after an intense fire exchange, eight Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies as well as killing of innocent civilians.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

In this regard, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised Pakistan’s security forces for successfully eliminating India-backed militants, saying their professionalism and dedication will help eradicate terrorism from the country.

In a statement on Friday, the prime minister said the nation stands united with its armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism.

“Thanks to the professional excellence of our security forces, we will completely root out terrorism from Pakistan,” PM Shehbaz said.

He vowed that elements trying to harm Pakistan’s sovereignty and stability will be defeated. “Those who wish to undermine the country’s integrity will see their nefarious designs fail,” he added.

The prime minister reaffirmed that the Government of Pakistan is fully committed to eliminating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace and security in the country.
