DG ISPR Highlights Unity and Resolve Against Extremism in Mardan Session

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held an interactive session with students and teachers from several universities and religious seminaries in Mardan.

Participants included faculty and students from Abdul Wali Khan University, Women University Mardan, the University of Engineering and Technology, and various madrasas.

During the discussion, the DG ISPR spoke on several key topics, including the “Operation Haqq” narrative, recent Pakistan-Afghanistan border tensions, and the overall security situation in the country. He emphasized that Pakistan has taken effective measures against terrorism and extremist elements. General Ahmed Sharif said that the Pakistan Army and the people stand united as a strong wall against any aggression from the enemy.

Students and teachers paid rich tribute to the martyrs and national heroes for their sacrifices in defending the country. They said that the DG ISPR’s discussion helped clear many misconceptions about the Pakistan Armed Forces. Teachers highlighted that the nation values the military’s role in promoting peace and national development, while students expressed their determination to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Army for the country’s security and stability.

Participants also noted that the session increased awareness about how anti-state elements spread propaganda on social media against Pakistan and its forces. The students reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army’s sacrifices for national defense are unmatched and vowed to support the armed forces in every possible way.
