Pakistan Envoy Opens Pak-USA Business Expo, Calls for Stronger Economic Ties

Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh inaugurated the Pak-USA Joint Business Conference & Expo 2025 here in Virginia, calling for stronger economic ties to be the bedrock of the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the United States.
The Ambassador emphasized that the relationship is “best underwritten by economic, commerce, trade, and investment ties.” He also urged Pakistani businesses to make strategic adaptations to thrive in the dynamic US market, calling the expo a pivotal “seed-sowing exercise” for a lasting partnership.
The Ambassador also reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting participants and refining their business models tailored to U.S. standards.
The event brought together Pakistani companies from key sectors like textiles, IT, tourism and real estate to explore opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and the United States.
